We collect information you provide directly when you use rslts, including account details, usage data, and any information you choose to share.

For race and event management, we may collect and process participant, team, volunteer, and event information such as names, bib numbers, team or school names, birth year, division information, gender categories, contact details, race entries, event attempts, results, and related event operations data.

Race organizers and administrators are responsible for making sure they have the right to provide participant and event data to rslts for event operations, timing, scoring, reporting, and related services.

Performance and Connected Platform Data

For athlete performance features, we may collect and process athlete profiles, training data, connected-platform data, activity summaries, workout details, sleep data, heart rate data, GPS or location-related samples, pace analysis, and similar performance information you choose to connect or share through the platform.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve our services
Develop new features and functionality
Understand how users interact with the platform
Respond to requests and communications
Monitor and analyze trends and usage patterns
Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and support the platform

Authorized site operators may access information when needed to run, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve rslts. We do not access personal information for unrelated purposes.

You may choose to share information through rslts with a team, coach, or other users based on the platform's permission and access settings.

Users, teams, coaches, and administrators may view and use information only to the extent they are authorized to access it through those settings.

We may provide AI-assisted features that help summarize, organize, or analyze information that a user is already authorized to access within the platform. Those features operate within the same permission boundaries as the user requesting them.

Public Results and Profiles

Some race results, athlete pages, team pages, and related event information may be made public through rslts so participants, teams, coaches, and spectators can view official results and related content.

Public pages may include information such as names, teams, bib numbers, divisions, event entries, placings, marks, times, and other race or performance results depending on how the event or feature is configured.

Youth Participants and Public Results

Some events on rslts include youth or school-age participants. For those events, public results may include participant names, team or school names, bib numbers, gender categories, birth year or age-based division information, and official results.

Event organizers are responsible for making sure they have the right to submit and publish participant data for their events, including data relating to youth participants. We take additional care with data relating to youth participants and expect event organizers to comply with applicable laws and school or organizational policies when submitting and publishing such data.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties except in the limited cases described here.

We may use trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting, storage, and infrastructure providers) to support operation of the platform. These providers process data only on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Connected Platform Data and External AI Services

Data received from connected platforms is used only inside rslts to provide and support the service. We do not sell connected platform data.

Connected platform data (including wearable device data) is used exclusively to provide user-requested features and is not used for advertising, marketing, or independent profiling.

Connected platform data is not shared with, processed by, or otherwise made available to external AI providers, third-party AI tools, or outside data processing services. Authorized site operators may access connected platform data only as needed to operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, develop, and improve rslts itself.

If we introduce features that involve external processing of connected platform data in the future, those features will be opt-in only and clearly disclosed before use.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the service, support event operations, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and how it is used.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Your Rights

You retain rights to your personal information. You may access, export, update, or delete your account information and connected platform data through your settings or by contacting us directly. Disconnecting a connected platform will stop new data from being collected; you may also request deletion of previously collected data from that platform.
