Manual Times
Using the built-in stopwatch to time heats and create results without hardware.
Manual Times
rslts.run includes a built-in stopwatch on the Timer page, usable when you do not have a dedicated timing device or finish-line hardware.
Starting the timer
Open the Timer page for the event and select a heat (or choose New Heat). Tap Start or press the space bar to begin the clock. The display counts up in seconds and hundredths.
Recording finishers
Tap the large button at the bottom of the screen or press the space bar once for each athlete crossing the finish line. Each tap records the current elapsed time as a finish in the list below the clock. Keep recording finishers until all athletes have crossed.
Stopping the clock
Tap Stop when you have finished recording all finishers. The heat’s finisher list is saved. Tap Resume if you need to add late finishers after stopping.
Assigning bibs
After stopping the clock, go to the Results page and use the Manual tab to assign bib numbers to each recorded time in order of finish.
When to use the timer page
Use the Timer page for simple meets without finish-line hardware, for backup timing when hardware fails, or for practice timing sessions. For precision events or large fields, the Finish Line page with hardware is preferred.
