Updating Inputs
Managing event results, corrections, imports, manual entries, and result exports.
Updating Inputs
The Results page is the event-level repair and review page. Use it after recording to inspect heats, correct bibs, import or create missing times, delete bad entries, reset bib assignments, and download a results backup.
Heat scope
Use Previous Heat, the heat selector, and Next Heat to move through one heat at a time. Use Show All to view every heat together, then Single Heat to return to one heat. Most repair work is easiest in single-heat view.
Bib correction modes
Use Read Only when you only want to review results.
Use Quick Edit to correct one bib at a time directly in the table. Change the bib value and leave the field to save it. Press Escape to reset the current row’s unsaved edit.
Use Batch Edit when several bibs are shifted or missing. Edit bibs in the table, press Enter to move down the column, then use Apply Bib Changes to save all changed rows at once.
Batch Edit also has Shift Bibs Down and Shift Bibs Up. Set Start Position first, then shift bibs from that row down or up to repair an off-by-one sequence. The Reset button clears unsaved batch edits without changing saved results.
Correcting an assignment
Use Quick Edit or Batch Edit for bib-only corrections. For a full result correction, tap the pencil button on a row. The edit dialog lets you change the result value and bib number, then save.
Manual time creation
Tap the + button to create a result manually. Enter the time or mark, enter the bib number, choose the heat, and submit. Use this when a finish time was missed or when you need to add a corrected result by hand.
For running events, enter a time. For distance events, enter the mark in feet and inches.
Deleting an entry
The Results page is the only place to delete an individual result entry. Tap the pencil button for the row, then choose Delete Result in the edit dialog. Deleting removes that recorded time or mark from the event.
Uploading finish-line CSV
Use Upload Finish-Line CSV from the Tools menu to re-import a CSV that was auto-downloaded by the Finish Line page. The file is merged with the heat named in the file.
The Finish Line page names its backup files as results_<raceId>_<eventId>_<timerId>.csv. The import uses that filename to identify the heat, so keep the original filename when uploading. The file has a header row and a time column:
| position | time |
|---|---|
| 1 | 2:25.00 |
| 2 | 2:40.00 |
The import adds missing times and skips times that already exist for that heat.
Reset tools
Use Clear All Bibs from the Tools menu to remove every bib assignment for the event while keeping the recorded times or marks. The page downloads a CSV backup before clearing. Use this when bib entry went wrong and you need to reassign bibs from scratch.
Use the Batch Edit Reset button to discard unsaved batch changes only. This does not change saved results.
Press Escape while editing a Quick Edit or Batch Edit bib field to discard unsaved edits.
Downloads
Use Export Results CSV from the Tools menu to download the currently loaded results as a spreadsheet. The export includes the result fields currently loaded by the page, including result time or mark, bib, athlete details, and heat identifiers.
