Volunteers

Granting meet access to officials, coaches, and timing helpers.

Volunteers

Volunteers are accounts that can access and operate parts of your meet without full admin rights. Add a volunteer by their email address and set which areas they can access.

Adding a volunteer

Tap + on the Volunteers page and enter the volunteer’s email. They must already have an rslts.run account. Set their permissions and tap Save.

Permission levels

Each volunteer has separate permission levels for five areas:

  • Events — View and manage event setup.
  • Participants — View and edit the participant roster.
  • Timers — Operate the stopwatch and finish-line pages.
  • Results — View, enter, and edit results.
  • Divisions — View and modify division definitions.

Each area has three levels: None (no access), View (read-only), and Manage (full access).

Typical roles

A finish-line operator needs Timers: Manage and Results: Manage.

A field event judge needs Results: Manage for the relevant events.

A meet director helper needs all areas at Manage level.

Volunteers see only the areas their permissions allow when they log in and navigate to the meet.
